About the Pub

The well-known Gibraltar Gardens public house in Norwich, with its ideal location close to the city centre, proudly overlooking the River Wensum. The business has previously enjoyed a good reputation for volume family dining along with the potential to develop the functions business, with a fully lined marquee with carpeting, lighting and a dance floor, set in the attractive grounds. With flagstone floors, wooden beams and exposed brickwork, the building oozes character and provides a delightful space in which to relax with drinks or dine. There are two main trading areas, the larger of which includes a dance floor, vaulted ceiling and seating for 80 with gorgeous views of the garden and riverside. Alongside is an area presently used for traditional pub gaming, which features an impressive double-sided wood-burning stove. Next is the second bar, presently used as a coffee area which then leads on to a separate dining area with space for approximately 25 - 30 additional covers. To the rear of the main bar and dining area is a paved patio leading to private dining pods overlooking the gardens and river beyond.
