The Globe Inn is positioned at the heart of the South Devon town of the Buckfastleigh. Situated on the edge of Dartmoor National Park and within easy reach of the A38, Totnes, South Devon Steam Railway and the Otter Sanctuary and Butterfly Farm the area has plenty to offer both visitors and locals alike. The Globe has all the ingredients for the further development of a successful pub business including a comfortable and traditional bar and dining area with exposed beams, natural stonework and open fireplaces. The bar has a small servery which is easy to staff and a well-equipped trade kitchen with easy access to all areas. There is space for 30 covers and the interior décor is very modern, with a mixture of tartan carpet and wooden flooring. Four letting rooms are available with a mixture of twin, family and double rooms; all well-presented with en-suite bathrooms/wet rooms. There is the possibility of additional facilities if all of the domestic accommodation is not required. To the rear of the property there is a partially covered courtyard/smoking area that is popular throughout the year and becomes a suntrap in the warmer months. A number of deckchairs and tables adorn the yard, seating 20 guests. Although there is no car park on site, pay and display parking facilities are reasonably priced and situated directly opposite and to the rear of the pub. The private living accommodation is a good size and comprises of three bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms and a lounge area.
