The Red Lion is located on the edge of Frodsham High Street and trades as a traditional neighbourhood pub with a single open plan bar area welcoming to both local and new customers of all ages. The pub is the heart of the community and can attract local sports teams - football, darts, pool etc. as well as catering for functions and 'one off' events to a wider audience. There is a small exterior area for outside drinking with a small car park for up to 6 cars. Also the site has an affiliation with the neighbouring bowls club to promote community ties further.

This is a one roomed, open plan operation with a pool table, several screens for sports viewing and cushioned seating in the two front windows. To the right of the entrance there is a cosy snug with a dart board, banquette seating and a TV screen. The larger drinking area has a pool table and plenty of space around it for vertical drinking. Surrounding the bar are high stools, as well as several tables and chairs creating a further drinking area. In total the trading area can accommodate up to 80 covers both seated and standing and is all in very good decorative condition, with wooden floors and carpets. The toilets are to the rear of the pub, along a corridor that leads to the small outside area.

To the rear of the property is a patio with space for up to four benches, that also doubles as a smoking solution. Accessed via Ship Street and facing the bowling green is the car park, with space for eight vehicles.
