About the Pub

Situated just off the Esplanade along the seafront of Paignton. The Embassy Tavern is a two-story traditional community pub, in a highly visible position, surrounded by several B&B establishments and hotels. The area is popular with tourists and the pub enjoys a marked summer uplift in business. It is important that a future operator can build upon and maintain the existing core base of out of season wet and dry trade and maximise the returns from the influx of summer visitors. Stonegate Pub Partners are seeking an experienced operator or couple to run this pub.

This traditional pub is in great condition and offers customers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. There is a split-level open plan trading area, decorated and furnished to a good standard with a modern bric-a-brac finish. The large bar servery is situated to one side of the pub and is accessed through an archway which splits the bar from the dining area. The dining area accommodates up to 30 covers, with a selection of modern tables, chairs and stools. Pub games are available including a pool table and gaming machines which are popular amongst the local community. Adjoining the main trade area is a fully fitted and fully enclosed catering kitchen which can be utilised to develop a food offering. There are a couple of TVs that can be used to show live sport.

There is a covered smoking and seating area positioned to the front of the pub which is a fantastic space for an afternoon drink during the summer months.
